POLICE CONFIRM ARRESTS IN LUTON AFTER FATAL STABBING

Police have revealed that arrests have been made in connection with a fatal stabbing in Luton.

Bedfordshire Police have arrested three youngsters in connection with a fatal stabbing on Nunnery Lane in town on Friday September 29th.

The incident occurred at 7 p.m., when officers were summoned to reports of three youths being stabbed.

A 16-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital with multiple stab wounds but was later pronounced dead.

While he has not been formally recognized, authorities have confirmed that his family is receiving assistance.

A second adolescent was hurt in the incident and is being treated in the hospital for potentially fatal injuries. A third victim also suffered critical injuries, however they are not considered life-threatening.

Three teenage lads have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the event and are being questioned by police.

Officers were alerted to reports of two people being stabbed in Sundon Park Road earlier that day (Friday) about 4 p.m.

One kid had life-threatening injuries, while another suffered significant but non-life-threatening injuries. Both are in the hospital being treated.

In connection with this other offense, one individual was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently being questioned by police.

The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit has begun a murder investigation, and both crimes are being treated as linked.

“Appalling violence in Luton cost a teenage boy his life yesterday, and two others are in life-threatening conditions,” said Detective Inspector Lee Martin of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit.

“Such incidents have a significant impact on our residents.” Our thoughts are first and foremost with the boy’s family, who lost him under such tragic and horrible circumstances.”We are doing everything we can to prevent further incidents, and we want to reassure the wider community that officers are investigating all leads and increasing patrols in the area.”

“Knife crime and violence have no place in our society – but it is a problem we must address together, alongside our communities, to challenge attitudes toward carrying knives and provide opportunities for our young people to feel safe.”

“Both incidents occurred in congested areas with a large number of people present.” Please contact us if you observed any of these crimes or have any video footage or photographs.”
