The Fainu brothers have joined the Wests Tigers.

Wests Tigers is excited to announce the long-term contracts of exciting rising stars Latu and Samuela Fainu.

The twins, who excelled for NSW in their Under 19s State of Origin triumph last Thursday night, have signed four-year contracts that will keep them at the club until at least the end of 2027.

Latu is an 18-year-old halfback who has yet to play in the NRL.

Samuela, a 19-year-old forward, has appeared in five games for the Manly Sea Eagles this season, making his NRL debut against the Wests Tigers in Round 8.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe says the team is thrilled to have signed two of the game’s most promising young players.

“This is terrific news for Wests Tigers,” Pascoe remarked.

“Latu and Samuela are both exceptional young talents, and it’s fantastic that they’ll be with us for a long time.”

“I know both of these young men are eager to continue their development as players under Tim (Sheens) and Benji (Marshall).”

Latu and Samuela will be joined by their older brother Sione, who played for Wests Tigers last season.

Wests Tigers take on the St George Illawarra Dragons at WIN Stadium on Thursday night before the club’s NRLW squad makes its debut against the Parramatta Eels at CommBank Stadium on Sunday.
