Leicester City Transfer Was Almost a No-Brainer, According to Foxes Star

Despite interest from rival teams, Leicester City shot-stopper Mads Hermansen has described his choice to join the Foxes in the summer as ‘nearly a no-brainer’.

Hermansen signed a five-year contract with Enzo Maresca’s team from Brondby during the summer transfer window.

Leicester identified the Danish star during their summer search for a new number one and eventually signed him.

Other teams were interested in Hermansen, and the Danish goalkeeper indicated that Leicester’s future plan for him was more remarkable than those of his other suitors.

He went on to say that he examined his options and decided to join the Foxes because he was about to have the best opportunity at the King Power Stadium.

“It was my first real transfer window, and I had no idea how it worked before,” Hermansen was reported as saying by Danish site Bold.dk.

“Obviously, several clubs were interested, and my entourage and I discussed what should be done.”

“When Leicester came in, it was practically a ‘no-brainer’ in terms of the strategy they presented.

“Leicester came with the best setup and the best opportunity.”

Hermansen has so far put in good performances for Maresca’s team this season, and he will be hoping to play in the Premier League next season.
