Leeds United transfer rumors swirl as a Whites target prepares to become a free agency.
The latest rumours from Elland Road and beyond as attention turns to the January transfer market.
A look at the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Sunday, October 15.
He’s a man who’s been linked with a move to Elland Road before, and German defender Kai Wagner’s name has once again been mentioned as a possible Leeds United target in January.
The 26-year-old was reportedly a target for the club in each of the last two transfer windows, with the latest suggestion being that the Philadelphia Union could make the move this winter following the expiration of his contract in the MLS. That’s according to The Athletic, who claim the club aren’t considering a contract extension for the left sided defender.
The move would bring some creativity to the Leeds United backline, with Wagner having made nine assists on top of his three goals during an impressive season for the Pennsylvania side.
Jack Clarke has been one of the standout performers of the Championship season so far, so it’s no wonder the vultures are circling for the former Leeds United man.
The York-born winger joined the Whites from an early age and burst onto the scene in 2018 before earning a move to Tottenham Hotspur. While things didn’t pan out for him in the years that followed, the now-22-year-old is finally showing his potential with Sunderland.
Burnley and Brentford are thought to be the clubs leading the chase for Clarke, with reports over the last few days suggesting the Black Cats would accept offers of £15m in January.
