AP Top 25 rankings: Oklahoma State and Arizona gain ground on Georgia, which holds a commanding lead.
After Saturday’s action, seven AP Top 25 teams lost, which means that Week 11 will bring about significant changes for voters. In Week 10, Air Force fell short against Army, another unbeaten team. But the real fights were fought elsewhere.

Georgia defeated Missouri 30–21 thanks to four-down interceptions from defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse and safety Javon Bullard. The Bulldogs’ pivotal defensive plays followed an equally important third quarter in which Georgia defeated Missouri 14-3 thanks to touchdowns from Kendall Milton and Oscar Delp.
To begin with, I’m incredibly proud of our players. We’ve assembled a group of men and a team that, in my opinion, knows how to play with poise and resilience. As a matter of fact, they exercised the discipline that we discussed throughout the week about performing under pressure. They were orderly. We stole a drive there, and I believed that our first three points came from them jumping offsides. Our kids were well-behaved enough to stay onsides.
Give Missouri a great deal of praise. I believe Eli performs admirably. Whoa, it’s tough to play that team. They have a quarterback who, in my opinion, can start for three years. Three years ago, he played against us here; I’m not sure if that’s accurate. Additionally, they are exceptionally skilled and large on the defensive line.
Our kids had a great time playing. This time around, the kicking game, Woodring’s coming through, Mews’ return, and a few crucial red-area stops were probably what made the difference in the game. That’s the essence of games. He did, in fact, say this last week: “We would look back on the third down and red area as major, critical spots.” Both of us and they had strong defensive performances in the red zone. Because Kamari is a matchup, really physical tackler, and tough guy, we cross-trained him during his time as a freshman and worked him in the slot. He is a talented football player. We felt that we needed a weapon and some answers in the slot as we observed him throughout the week. You need guys that venture outside if you want to accomplish that.
Daylen and Julian had to go out there and perform, and they did some really good plays. They had some extremely difficult back-shoulder throws and some extremely close PIs that were close calls. You allow those things to enter your life when you remove Kamari from that boundary area.
We believe we have capable corners, and Kamari gives us that opportunity. We are fortunate to have defensive players with the versatility to attempt to counteract some of their moves.
