Wednesday’s Packers vs. Steelers Injury Report: Christian Watson Is Back
On Wednesday, Christian Watson and the other two injured Green Bay Packers returned to the practice field.

DE GREEN BAY, WI Christian Watson made a leaping catch for a gain of 37 yards with roughly five minutes remaining in the Green Bay Packers’ victory over the Los Angeles Rams, which set up the game-winning touchdown.

Watson stood up, walked a few steps, and then fell to the ground. Watson was being assessed for a concussion in addition to his back and chest injuries.

Watson returned to the field on Wednesday as the Packers started practicing for their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

According to coach Matt LaFleur, he was “full go.”

Resuming during the media viewing window is also:

– Kenny Clark, the defensive tackle who attempted to “forklift” a Rams lineman and sustained a shoulder injury that kept him out of the game for the second half. As he took part in the first full-pads practice, Clark assured us he would be “all right.”

– Security Rudy Ford was sidelined against Los Angeles because of a calf injury he suffered during practice.

– Also of note, running back Aaron Jones, whose 24 touches were more than double his previous season high of 11, practiced without the protective red jersey he wore for all three practices last week.

– Cornerback Jaire Alexander missed three of four games with a back injury but has played in the last two and was given the game ball following Sunday’s win. He got a “little banged up” against the Rams, which is why he didn’t practice on Wednesday.

Alexander was all smiles after the game.

“I just told the guys savor this moment,” he said. “Wins aren’t easy in this league and when we do win, you’ve got to enjoy it. And I said, next week, we got another challenge and we’re going to go out there and we’re going to go win again.”
