Bold Bills predictions for their Week 10 game against the Broncos

Buffalo hasn’t looked good since their convincing Week 4 victory over the Miami Dolphins. Over the course of the season, injuries have increased, including Josh Allen’s shoulder problem. Even so, the Bills have struggled to defeat the Washington Commanders and New York Giants and have fallen short against the deplorable New England Patriots, appearing disoriented and inept on both sides of the ball.
The Broncos, the Bills’ Monday Night Football opponent in Week 10, might be going the other way. In Week 2, the Dolphins put on a 70-point display for Sean Payton, Russell Wilson, and the entire team, leaving them looking foolish. However, they have improved significantly over the past month, winning three of their previous five games and their last two going into the bye.
Monday night, Denver will be well-rested and prepared, while the Bills will be sluggish and counting down the days until their Week 13 bye. In light of this, allow me to offer some audacious Bills Week 10 predictions.

The Bills defense is still not very good.
It appeared as though better times were ahead when head coach Sean McDermott succeeded Leslie Frazier as defensive coordinator this season. And they were for a bit.
The McDermott-led defense appeared more focused on stopping the run and more effective at startling opposing quarterbacks with timed blitzes than it did in the previous campaign. Then, sadly for the Bills, Tre’Daviouos White was injured. Matt Milano followed. DaQuan Jones came next, and so on.
Shane Conlan and Nate Odomes aren’t going through that door, to borrow Rick Pitino’s words.
In an attempt to close the gaps, general manager Brandon Beane acquired former Green Bay Packers cornerback Rasul Douglas in exchange for a third-round pick and signed defensive tackle Linval Joseph. It’s possible that the funds and draft capital would have been better used on the opposing team, but that’s a discussion for another day.
The Broncos, who are well-rested and will enter the game with a strong offensive strategy following their bye week, will be difficult for the Bills to stop on Monday night. Denver has improved over the past few weeks, particularly in the run game, so it won’t come as a surprise if they destroy the Bills defense.
The best that Bills Mafia can hope for in this situation is that the defense can rally in the end and make one crucial stop to help win the game if this is a close game in the end (which is one of the audacious Bills Week 10 predictions here).
Josh Allen, the franchise quarterback, did not receive any assistance at the trade deadline. As is customary, McDermott’s coaching staff will rely on Allen and Stefon Diggs to virtually win the game on their own.
Hopefully, some things have changed after a trying week of dwelling on yet another close loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. This week, Ken Dorsey, the offensive coordinator, has been subjected to criticism; in fact, veteran running back Latavius Murray called a players-only meeting. Perhaps that was sufficient to rekindle the offensive.
