Luton Town have six players out on loan this season and need to evaluate their options ahead of a crucial transfer window this summer.

Luton Town have had a season to forget as they sit in 23rd place in the Championship table and are at risk of back-to-back relegations. LTFC are four points adrift of safety with just eight games left in the season.

Matt Bloomfield has not had the desired effect since replacing Rob Edwards but he will likely be given time to rebuild Luton Town after this campaign has finished. Bloomfield was doing an excellent job with Wycombe Wanderers in League One.

Ahead of the summer rebuild, the Hatters will welcome back six first-team players from loan and they need to decide what to do with them.

Aribim Pepple
Pepple’s time is running out at Luton Town, his contract will be running out this summer. After several loan spells in the lower leagues, he is yet to set the world alight.

He has spent the 2nd half of this season in League Two with Chesterfield, scoring five goals in 13 games. Even with LTFC potentially dropping to League One, you would think they would expect better.

Verdict: Release

Tom Holmes
Holmes is a player that could be very useful for Luton, especially if they get relegated. At 25 he has played over 100 games in the Championship with Reading.

While it did not work out exactly as hoped at Luton Town, next season could represent a fresh start for the centre-back.

Verdict: Keep.

Dion Pereira
At 25, Pereira does not seem to quite be at the level required to play at Luton Town. The winger has had a decent campaign down in the National League this season.

On loan at Dagenham and Redbridge, he has scored 11 goals and provided six assists. However, with a year left on his contract, it is time the Hatters cut their losses.

Verdict: Sell.

Jack Walton
Should Luton Town be relegated this season their is every chance current ‘keeper Thomas Kaminski leaves the club.

If that is the case then, Walton is a perfect replacement. After spending two years with Dundee United, he has come along a lot and has conceded just 40 goals in 30 games this campaign.

Verdict: Keep

He could be a hugely important player for the club in League One and is a useful option at Championship level. Mpanzu has spent the second half of this season on loan at Rotherham United.

Woodrow has really struggled in the Championship this season. With 19 games across spells with Luton and Blackburn Rovers he is yet to manage a goal contribution.

After three years with Luton Town, it is likely his spell comes to an end this summer.
