East Kentwood grad signs with Minnesota Vikings as undrafted free agent
KENTWOOD, MI – After playing college football at Wisconsin and Kansas, East Kentwood alumnus Logan Brown is keeping his talents in the Midwest, after the offensive lineman signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Minnesota Vikings.
Brown is the second member of East Kentwood’s 2019 graduating class to sign with an NFL team, joining former teammate and University of Michigan defensive tackle Mazi Smith, who was a 2023 first-round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys.
The 6-foot-6, 311-pound Brown is a former five-star recruit that committed to Wisconsin over offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Alabama, Penn State and Florida, among others, and he spent nearly four seasons with the Badgers, redshirting his true freshman year, then appearing in seven games during the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign.
