What LeBron James did with his wife after Lakers game has turned heads..
LeBron James’ behaviour with his wife following Los Angeles Lakers’ latest match against the Houston Rockets has fans talking.
On Friday, the Los Angeles Lakers played the Houston Rockets in a crucial match to determine their seeding in the NBA Western Conference standings.
The Lakers came away with a huge win, beating the Rockets 140-109 at the Crypto.com Arena and taking the No. 3 seed, but it wasn’t all positive as star player James appeared to injure himself during the game.
However, after spotting what he was doing with his wife while celebrating the win, fans are convinced they know exactly how severe James’ injury could be.
During the match against the Rockets, James posted 14 points, four rebounds and assists, but was forced to leave the court before the midway point of the third quarter after he appeared to injure his groin.
But fan’s fears appear to have been settled, as the 40-year-old was spotted excitedly celebrating and with his wife wife Savannah James as the pair embraced postgame.
Reacting to the clip, one fan wrote: “He looked fine with the groin there. He has time to rest now. So should be fine.”
While one suggested the Lakers play it safe and rest James for their next game, writing: “He needs to rest vs portland then that additional one week.”
Another suggested: “Man looks like he could play another 5 years.”
And one fan asked: “How do people actually hate this dude? He’s the GOAT and he’s the dopest dude ever.”
Thankfully for Lakers fans, head coach JJ Redick later confirmed that James was fine and hadn’t suffered any injuries, meaning that he can be expected to play in their first playoff game next weekend.
His inclusion in the important games will be welcome to Redick and the rest of the Lakers due to the important role that James has played for the NBA team this season,
Throughout the season, the star forward has averaged impressive numbers, with 24.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game.
Rockets still resting, fall to Lakers 140-109…
The Rockets had nothing to play for.
With the second seed in the Western Conference all wrapped up, the Houston Rockets continued to rest most of their players, while the Los Angeles Lakers were playing their whole crew, trying to wrap up the third seed. As you can guess, Houston couldn’t hang in a 140-109 defeat, but there were some good things.
First, Cam Whitmore went off for 34 points on 13-for-19 shooting, including 7-for-12 from deep. He also added 8 rebounds along with an assist, a steal and a block. Fellow rookie Reed Sheppard had 14 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and a block. He was 4-for-8 from three. Nate Williams and Aaron Holiday pitched in 12 and 11 points respectively, and that was it for Houston’s double figure scorers.
The Lakers were led by Luka Doncic, who finished with 39, and Austin Reaves, who had 23. The Lakers shot 61 percent from the floor as team, with the vast majority of Houston’s athletic defenders resting for the postseason.
Not much else to say about this one. Houston falls to 52-29 on the year, but it’s inconsequential to playoff seeding for the Rockets, while L.A. will finish right behind the Rockets as the third seed.
Houston will play their final regular season game of the year on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets, who are also still playing for NBA Playoffs seeding.
