Wycombe Wanderers dropped from 2nd into 3rd after they were humbled 4-0 at home to Charlton Athletic, who take some fine form into the game at the Racecourse on Saturday.

Nathan Jones, who said Wrexham is a ‘circus’ in the build up to Saturday, has not only made promotion dark horses out of his Addicks side, but he’s also put them in contention to claim 2nd.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, James McClean assessed the Charlton Athletic match and without making any predictions, he simply said that Wrexham just need to focus on their game, and win.

“It doesn’t matter if they win, lose or draw, we have to win our game. That has to be the main focus, not how Wycombe get on.”

There’s so many potential outcomes this weekend. But like McClean says, Wrexham just need to focus on what the can control, which is their game against Charlton Athletic.

The match kicks off at 5:30pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
