Sonny Bradley to leave Derby County after Wycombe stint..
Derby County have confirmed that on-loan Wycombe Wanderers man Sonny Bradley will be released by the club.
The defender, who joined the Chairboys from the Rams at the start of the January Transfer Window, played a huge role in the club’s push for promotion this season.
In all, he played 21 times and scored twice in the light and dark blue quarters.
His first goal happened to be the final strike of the Matt Bloomfield reign at Adams Park.
This came in a 2-0 victory against one of Bradley’s former sides, Portsmouth, in the FA Cup on January 10.
Four days later, Bloomfield was officially unveiled as Luton Town’s new manager.
His other goal came in a 3-2 away victory at Rotherham United on March 18, where he scored a late winner.
The announcement of Bradley’s exit from Derby came less than a day after he played the full 90 minutes for Wanderers in their 1-0 away loss at Charlton Athletic in the League One play-off semi-final second leg.
It is too early to tell if he will pen a permanent deal with the Chairboys.
Prior to his move down to South Buckinghamshire, Bradley spent 18 months with the Rams, playing 41 games in all competitions in his first season, as the former Premier League club won promotion to the Championship after a two-year stint in League One.
This year, he featured just nine times and was made surplus to requirements by the club, which made him available for a move in January.
He has also played for Hull City, Aldershot Town, Portsmouth, Crawley Town, Plymouth Argyle and Luton Town.
Bradley will officially be a free agent on June 30 on the basis that he does not sign for another club before then.
