Emerson Palmieri says West Ham have one ‘unbelievable’ player on our hands
West Ham United star Emerson Palmieri is clearly a huge fan of one of his teammates in particular.
Emerson Palmieri joined West Ham from Chelsea in the summer of 2022, and has fully established himself as our first-choice left-back.
The 30-year-old actually hasn’t been anywhere near his best for the Hammers this season, and he has been criticised by the likes of Jamie Carragher.
That said, he was much better during our 4-1 win over Ipswich Town at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The same can be said about pretty much every player who started against the Tractor Boys.
All of our big names showed up, aside from Lucas Paqueta who was actually very poor.
But Emerson singled out one of his teammates in particular for praise…
Emerson Palmieri says West Ham have an ‘unbelievable’ player
The Italian was very impressed indeed by one of his teammates on Saturday.
There were a lot of fine performances on display at the London Stadium, and Emerson picked out one of his teammates who was ‘unbelievable’.
The 30-year-old Hammers left-back raved about Jarrod Bowen, after the captain’s exceptional display against Ipswich Town.
Jarrod Bowen recently insisted that he wants to stay at West Ham for the rest of his career, and here’s to hoping that he will go from strength to strength for us over the next few years.
Emerson spoke to WHUFC.com and praised Bowen to the hilt.
He said, “Jarrod was unbelievable, and it’s good for everyone.“
Emerson is right, Bowen was unbelievable against Ipswich, but now I want to see him maintain those levels throughout the remainder of the campaign.
Bowen getting back to his best for West Ham
The 27-year-old’s goal for the Hammers on Saturday was superb, and it was a sign that Jarrod is getting back to somewhere near his best.
West Ham need our captain to be on his very best form for the remainder of the season now.
Bowen now has two goals and two assists in seven Premier League games this season, and I fully expect him to end the campaign with 15 goals and 10 assists at least.
The skipper always works hard, and puts in 100 per cent effort, but now we need to start seeing his quality when it matters.
Jarrod Bowen hasn’t looked as sharp as he can be for West Ham this season, but as Emerson Palmieri alluded to, he was back to somewhere near his best during our 4-1 win over Ipswich Town.
After the international break, I believe Bowen will come out firing for the Hammers and help us climb inside the European places.
