Everton to return quartet of loan players Alcaraz negotiations underway..
Harrison, Lindstrøm, Mangala and Broja will go back to their parent clubs.
Prior to Everton’s final game of the season away at Newcastle, manager David Moyes had indicated that there would be some transfer updates as early as this week.
Today, the club announced that four of the five loanees from last season would be going back to their parent clubs when their contracts expire in a month.
The Toffees will not be pursuing permanent deals for the quartet of Jack Harrison (Leeds United), Jesper Lindstrøm (SC Napoli), Orel Mangala (Olympique Lyon) and Armando Broja (Chelsea FC).
However, Sunday’s matchwinner Carlos Alcaraz does appear to be in Moyes’ plans, with the club continuing discussions with the midfielder who is on loan from Brazilian side Flamengo.

Harrison has appeared 73 times since last season, scoring five goals with four assists in that time.
There was much hope for winger Lindstrøm whose parent side SC Napoli just lifted the Serie A title this past weekend, but he seemed to struggle with the pace of the game in England before injury curtailed his campaign, with 29 appearances in all competitions and one assist.
Belgium international midfielder Mangala had played 21 times before sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament knee injury that ended his season back in January. He had stabilized the midfield in that time in a solid partnership in the midfield with Idrissa Gana Gueye.

Broja was a deadline day addition but spent most of the time out injured, but in the limited appearances he made (11 games), was unable to make an impression with four shots in that time, all off-target.

Manager David Moyes said of the loanees –
“We would like to thank all our loan players, who have contributed to the positive steps we made on the pitch. They all embraced what it means to play for this club, and their attitude and commitment throughout their time at Everton was first class.
“We wish Jack, Jesper, Orel and Armando all the very best for the future.”
