Désiré Doué to remain at PSG despite Real Madrid links.
Désiré Doué (19) has, over the course of his debut season at Paris Saint-Germain, become a key player under Luis Enrique. The Frenchman took time to establish himself at PSG following his summer move from formative club from Stade Rennais and during the autumn, he struggled to hold down a place in the side.
It took him until December to net his first goal for his new club, however, he has since kicked on. He has 13 goals and 12 assists this season. His contribution secured PSG the Ligue 1 title in hasty fashion, whilst the club are also just one game away from the UEFA Champions League final.
His performances have caught the eye of Real Madrid, according to English sources. However, Foot Mercato reports that despite the interest from Los Blancos, PSG are completely closed to the idea of selling Doué. No offer would convince the Ligue 1 champions to part ways with the France international, whose contract runs until 2029.

Désiré Doué: “We really enjoy playing together”
Désiré Doué, who took home the UNFP’s Ligue 1 Young Player of the Season award this evening, spoke to us about his win.
Désiré Doué:
“This is the culmination of a great season, although it isn’t over yet because we know that the Coupe de France final and the Champions League final are still to come and that they’ll be two very important games for the club. I’m very happy, and I’d like to thank my partners, my teammates, the backroom staff, the coach and also the Paris Saint-Germain president for trusting me.
“I hope that they win a lot of awards because they deserve it. If I’ve won this award tonight, it’s thanks to them because our team is just extraordinary. We really enjoy playing together and working alongside such great players. It’s just a joy every day, and it’s helping me to improve.”
