Jones and Alexander are recovering from their wounds and planning to return.

WBAY, Green Bay, Wisconsin The Packers’ injury list is still lengthy as they prepare for Monday Night Football against New York.

Christian Watson and Quay Walker didn’t practice on Friday either. Elgton Jenkins, for whom the team is simply exercising extra caution with his shoulder, didn’t do either.

After spraining his MCL against the Chargers, Aaron Jones was practicing for the second day in a row. Darnell Savage also resumed playing. Jones has experienced four MCl sprains, all of which occurred in November or December. He had only missed two games the prior times.

“I think I’m getting close,” Jones remarked. It’s only now reaching that maximum speed.

Jaire Alexander, a wide receiver for the Packers, was also limited in practice, but he is not willing to rush things. His shoulder injury is still bothering him, so he may not be available on Monday. Is he able to get past it?

“I’ve done that quite a few times already this year. It’s a little more difficult, I think, with everything I have going on right now,” Alexander remarked. “I plan to play if I have the ability to do so.”

This season, the league’s highest paid corner has missed seven games overall and the last four in a row.

Pressure is constant. I’m the kind of person who will present myself in the best possible light. It’s difficult for me to even be out there if I can’t put in my best effort,” Alexander remarked.

He’s pleased with rookie CB Carrington Valentine for filling in in the interim.

It’s been incredible. I constantly tell him that Carrington is my virtual life. I make a play when he makes one. I always rejoice about that,” he remarked.

Alexander also brings success to the team.

“I predicted that we would prevail when I called. Although I’m not a prophet, I think more people ought to pay attention to me.

With the 62nd overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon has garnered a lot of support from the public ever since his selection. Fans have adored him for everything, from his play on the field to his demeanor off it. Additionally, he has grown to be an extremely important member of the Green Bay offense, particularly this season given Aaron Jones’ numerous injuries.

Dillon is a vital component of the offense and a fan favorite, but it looks like his time with the Packers is running out.

It appeared in a recent piece by Matt Schneidman of the Athletic that the Packers might be getting ready to let Dillon go. This would be a wise move because Dillon will be a free agent following the 2023 NFL season, and it might not be worth the money to re-sign him.

Although he’s not quite your standard feature back, Dillon has established himself as a reliable No. 2 running back. Through the draft, the Packers can select a new No. 2 pick at a lower cost, and that player may trail Jones in the depth chart for a year before taking over as the starting leadback in 2025.
