Juliet Haslam: Memorandum to Advocates and Members

I have reluctantly decided to resign from my position as Head of AFLW at the Port Adelaide Football Club in order to focus on my health and work-life balance.

I’m glad to have contributed to the conception and development of our program from the beginning. This work, which I adore, has been extremely demanding.

Health problems that have been bothering me and, regrettably, have no apparent end in sight have been one of the main things that have been weighing on me during my time at the club. I must give these my full attention right now.

Being a part of our Club’s AFLW journey thus far has been an honor, and I am proud to say that the groundwork has been laid for long-term success, as our devoted Port Adelaide community has demanded.

For the 2024 season, we have some very exciting new talent joining our team, and I have no doubt that we will succeed on the field soon.

We are grateful to our hardworking team for accomplishing so much in such a short period of time. We have amazing people in the Club and in our W program. I will sincerely miss our players, employees, fans, and everyone else associated with the club.

My commitment to and support of the Port Adelaide Football Club is ingrained in my being and won’t go away.

I hope the Club and our AFLW program both succeed greatly.
