Alabama football’s 2024 matchup with Oklahoma is formally announced by the SEC.

The official date of Alabama football’s 2024 game against Oklahoma is set. On November 23, the Crimson Tide will make their way to Norman to take on one of the Sooners’ first SEC opponents since leaving the Big 12 with Texas.

The official announcement was made during Monday Night Football’s halftime, which also featured a game between Texas and Georgia on October 19. ESPN, which will assume full television rights to the league next season, previously revealed the game’s date and other significant details of the 2024 SEC schedule.

The league also revealed the schedule for the two games on October 12: Ole Miss will visit LSU, and Tennessee will play Florida in Knoxville.

ESPN will reveal the complete 2024 SEC schedule on Wednesday night. After the addition of Texas and Oklahoma during spring meetings, the league’s schools were unable to agree on a long-term scheduling model, so they will play an eight-game conference schedule for at least one more season.

Alabama’s 2024 campaign gets underway against Western Kentucky at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The following week, when the Crimson Tide hosts South Florida at home, they will aim to win more resoundingly than they did in Week 3 of this season.

Alabama travels to Big Ten country on September 14. The Tide’s SEC schedule will begin with a game against Wisconsin at Camp Randall.

After a week off, the Tide will host Georgia on September 28. They will then travel to Tennessee on October 19 and LSU on November 9, according to ESPN’s Chris Low. Mercer visits the area on November 16th, followed by the Oklahoma game and an Iron Bowl matchup with Auburn in Tuscaloosa on November 30th.

The dates of Alabama’s road trip to Vanderbilt and their home games against South Carolina and Missouri at Bryant-Denny Stadium have not yet been revealed.

Alabama’s 2023 season begins on January 1 in the interim. That day, the Crimson Tide will play Michigan in the Rose Bowl semifinal of the College Football Playoffs.
