REPORT: Tennessee Titans considering Eagles OC for head coach position

According to Ian Rapoport, the Tennessee Titans have asked Eagles offensive coordinator Brian Johnson to come in for an interview for the head coaching position that is currently open.

According to a source, the #Titans asked to speak with #Eagles OC Brian Johnson for their open HC position. That interview, as well as ones with Bobby Slowik, Dan Quinn, Aaron Glenn, Ben Johnson, and possibly others, should take place after his team’s game today.

In 2023, Brian Johnson made an impressive debut as the starting quarterback for Philadelphia. Shane Steichen, who left to take the head position with the Indianapolis Colts, was replaced as coach.

The Eagles placed in the top eight in terms of total yards and points scored during Johnson’s first campaign as offensive coordinator. It’s noteworthy that the team placed eighth in terms of rushing yards given that the Titans have always been a run-first organization.

Johnson is merely the most recent name to be floated as a potential Titans player. Raiders interim head coach Antonio Pierce and Bengals offensive lineman Brian Callahan have already been interviewed by the team. Among others, Aaron Glenn, Bobby Slowik, Ben Johnson, and Dan Quinn are all of interest to the team.
