Auburn ends the Tigers’ 16-game winning streak by stunning No. 7 LSU 67-62.
Auburn, Alabama (AP) — With 21 points from Honesty Scott-Grayson, Auburn defeated No. 7 LSU 67-62 on Sunday.
Having won a record-tying 16 straight games, LSU, the defending national champion, came into the game with the best scoring offense in the country (93.8 points).
In the victory at home against LSU (16-2, 3-1), Auburn (12-5, 1-3 SEC) forced 15 turnovers and limited the Tigers to a season-low in points.
With 10.4 seconds left in regulation, JaMya Mingo-Young stole the ball from Angel Reese of LSU to secure the victory. She made both of her free throws, putting Auburn ahead by two points.

LSU: Since their season-opening victory over Colorado, the reigning champions had not dropped a match. Reese delivered his typical high-scoring performance, but the rest of the lineup’s offensive woes contributed to the defeat.
