Auburn Tigers News: 2024 Tiger Trail inductees and the football team are expected to explore a portal.
Four Auburn greats were inducted into the Tiger Trail, and the Auburn football team is still anticipated to add players via the transfer portal, according to today’s Auburn Tigers News.
For Auburn football supporters, Saturday’s performance by rookie wide receiver Cam Coleman was a breath of fresh air. The Tigers have had trouble identifying a reliable pass-catcher for years, but that should change with all the new talent expected to arrive before the 2024 campaign.
Though the Tigers have added a number of promising new players to their roster, head coach Hugh Freeze has insisted that the team still needs to fill a few key positions before the season begins.
According to Auburn Undercover, Freeze stated following the spring game, “We’ve got a couple spots left on our roster.” If you must fill it, let’s do so with receivers and D-line. That’s where I believe we need to add some more nuance. They did appear to play well today.”
In 2024, Auburn’s football team will prioritize improving the passing game, and with new wide receivers and an offensive makeover, the Tigers can achieve this objective.

Auburn legends’ names are engraved on sidewalk plaques that can be found all over downtown Auburn. This past weekend, four more legendary Auburn alumni joined the trail: Takeo Spikes, a former football player, Cliff Ellis, a former basketball coach, and former gymnast Caitlin Atkinson.
