Good News to Harry Potters....

I apologize, Harry Potter fans! Some Very Sad News Was Just Confirmed by Daniel Radcliffe

We know, we know… it’s pretty obvious Daniel Radcliffe has moved on from his days of wizarding around Hogwarts, but we couldn’t help but hope he’d make an appearance in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. How could we not? Sadly, though, the actor confirmed what we knew deep down all along.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight at Comic-Con, the 25-year-old was happy to talk about the future for the franchise, but thanks to not being able to time travel, you won’t see him in any upcoming flicks.

“I still get people saying, ‘Are there going to be any more movies?’ And now I can say, ‘There are actually!” he said. “But I’m not going to be in them. And they’re like, ‘Oh sorry,’ and I’m like, ‘They’re set in the past. Don’t worry about it!'”

One place you can see Daniel is in Victor Frankenstein, where he plays Igor, AKA Dr. Frankenstein’s assistant. Spoiler alert: There will be no spells or Quidditch involved, but hey — that’s where HP movie marathons come in.
