For the NFC title game, 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (shoulder) is cleared.

Deebo Samuel, the star wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, has been cleared to play against the visiting Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

Samuel missed practice on Wednesday due to a left shoulder injury he sustained during the divisional playoff victory over Green Bay last weekend. But, Samuel was a full go on Friday and didn’t have an injury designation going into the game after making a limited comeback to practice on Thursday.

Coach Kyle Shanahan says there is no fracture to the shoulder. Samuel missed two games and the bye week due to a microfracture in the same shoulder that occurred earlier in the season.

There were only two players on the injury report: linebacker Oren Burks (shoulder) and defensive tackle Kalia Davis (ankle). Both defensive tackle Arik Armstead (foot, knee) and linebacker Dre Greenlaw (achilles) are healthy enough to play despite being on the injury report earlier in the week.

In 15 games during the 2023 regular season, Samuel, 28, caught 60 passes for 892 yards and seven touchdowns and ran for 225 yards and five more.
