Aaron Rodgers is harshly criticized for leaving the Green Bay Packers: ‘He has low IQ’

The attacks against Aaron Rodgers don’t stop with the latest being sports anchor Colin Cowherd, who is known for his incendiary takes in the world of American sports. In one of his latest rants, he is convinced Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have a high football IQ because he chose to leave the Green Bay Packers to play for the New York Jets. During that time in which the veteran QB was making a decision about his future, he was fresh out of being turned into a pariah due to his strong stanced on vaccines and the Covid-19 pandemic. The NFL suspended him for a long time for refusing to take the vaccine, that’s when all the attacks started coming towards him.

Colin Cowherd didn’t pull any punches against Aaron Rodgers on his show, where he slammed the Jets’ QB for leaving the Green Bay Packers. He said: “He had a smart offensive coach. He had a very good offensive line, it was ranked third. He had a star running back, and they just drafted Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson – really, really talented young receivers. And Aaron went, ‘Nah, I wanna go to a defensive coach [Robert Saleh] with a losing record, to the 31st ranked offensive line. Forget about his vaccine and political opinions, Aaron’s football IQ isn’t very high. When I look at Aaron Rodgers, was it delusion or just narcissism and hubris?”

These attacks come in the wake of Aaron Rodgers’ very public confrontation with television host Jimmy Kimmel, who has also been attacking Rodgers for years on his show. Aaron decided to respond to all the trolling from Jimmy by insinuating he was part of the infamous Jeffrey Epstein client list. As it was expected, Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t too happy about it and he roasted Aaron Rodgers for it. Also, he threatened to sue the QB for putting his family in danger. Colin Cowherd is just the latest in a substantial number of attacks against him.

One of the more unusual problems? The teams might have to ditch their green jerseys because Palmeiras, a local soccer team with a passionate fan base, shares the same color. The NFL doesn’t want to step on any toes, especially in a city where soccer is almost a religion. But Packers fans can breathe a sigh of relief-it looks like the green jerseys will still make it onto the field.

But it’s not just the logistics that have the players on edge. D SlayD didn’t hold back when asked about his thoughts on playing in Brazil. While he’s pumped for Week 1, the location has him seriously questioning the NFL’s decision-making. “Week 1, I can’t wait. But man, I do not wanna go to Brazil,” Slay revealed, citing the strict security measures that will keep players confined to their hotels. For him, the trip feels more like a lockdown than a kickoff.

Slay’s concerns are so serious that he’s told his family to stay far away from Brazil. He doesn’t see the point in having them travel just to be stuck in a hotel, especially with the high crime rate the NFL has warned about. It’s a move that underscores just how uneasy some players are about this international venture.

The NFL’s push to globalize the sport has been well-received in places like England and Germany, but Brazil is proving to be a different beast. Despite the excitement among Brazilian fans, the pre-game chaos might just deter the league from scheduling future games in the country.

As for the game itself, it’s a high-stakes matchup, but the real drama seems to be happening off the field. Let’s just hope both teams make it back home without any major incidents-and maybe rethink their color choices for the next international showdown.

It took only two practices forGreen Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur to change his stance on starting the season with a new, untested kicker. LaFleur initially expressed concerns about heading into Friday’s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil with rookie kicker Brayden Narveson, who had never played a game for the Packers. However, after witnessing Narveson’s impressive performance during practice, LaFleur’s concerns have significantly diminished.

Before Narveson joined the team last week, LaFleur described the situation as “uncharted territory,” acknowledging that the presence of a new kicker could potentially influence in-game decisions. But after observing Narveson’s accuracy and poise during his first two kicking sessions, LaFleur’s confidence in the rookie kicker grew.

During his first practice at Lambeau FieldNarveson made all five of his kicks, including a challenging 58-yard field goal in windy conditions. On Sunday, Narveson continued to impress by successfully converting 5-of-6 kicks, with the only miss being a 51-yarder, which he quickly followed up with a successful 53-yard attempt.

Narveson, who was claimed off waivers from the Tennessee Titans, is now the Packers‘ sixth kicker since last season. Although the Packers had initially studied Narveson during the draft process, they did not offer him a contract at the time. Narveson’s strong performance during the preseason with the Titans, including a 59-yard field goal and a game-winning kick, eventually earned him a spot on the Packers‘ roster.

With his recent success, Narveson is eager to seize this new opportunity and continue proving himself as the Packers‘ reliable kicker for the season ahead.
