“He’s really good,” a Tottenham player said of Ange Postecoglou’s impact on the team.

Tottenham Hotspur selected Ange Postecoglou as their new manager on June 6th, and they’ve had a solid start to the season under his guidance, with three victories from four games. Tottenham are now second in the table, two points behind leaders Manchester City.

Last season, the north London team finished eighth, missing out on European contention. Postecoglou has rapidly managed to turn things around at Tottenham, and Dejan Kulusevski is overjoyed.

“I’m delighted things are going well. The team is excellent. We have a great coach, we’ve played well, and we’ve scored a lot of goals,” he told Fotbollskanalen.

So it’s evident that it’s a lot of fun. When things are going well, you should enjoy it.”
Spurs won only two of their final ten league games of the 2022/23 season, and the Sweden international was questioned if he was shocked by how much his team has progressed this season.
In response, the 23-year-old winger discussed the former Celtics coach’s influence on him and his teammates.

“Actually, yes. We had a difficult season finale last year. He came in with a lot of zest and it all went really swiftly. Of course, we are all taken aback. But he’s fantastic,” Kulusevski explained.

“We’re a young team, and everyone wants to play like this.” I’m not saying that.

We did something terribly wrong before, but it was something entirely different. I believe it is easier to come to training every day knowing that you should play with the ball, attack, and run forward rather than backward. As a result, it is apparent that all of us players did everything we could to listen as much as possible.”

Tottenham have performed admirably despite the loss of their top scorer, Harry Kane, to Bayern Munich in August. Last season, the England international scored 30 league goals, and the former Juventus player said, “we thought he’d stay.”
