A Tottenham player has’made known his desire’ to depart in January.
Giovani Lo Celso, according to Fichajes, has already decided to leave Tottenham during the January transfer window.
Lo Celso stayed put at Spurs despite being linked to moves away from the North London club up until the transfer deadline day, according to claims that Ange Postecoglou assured the player’s camp that he will play a role at the club this season (Express).
The Argentine has only made one start so far this season, against Fulham in the second round of the Carabao Cup last month, but he has missed the previous two games because of hamstring discomfort.
Earlier this week, we reported on a rumor from AS that suggested Real Betis would try again to recruit Lo Celso after their summer attempt to do so failed.
Lo Celso desires a January transfer to Real Betis.
Fichajes has since confirmed this story, saying that Betis are ‘attentive’ to the Tottenham player’s condition before January.
According to the source, the midfielder has “made clear his desire” to quit Spurs in January and play at Benito Villamarin Stadium once more.
Despite receiving offers from other teams, it is claimed that Lo Celso has made it clear that he wants to play for Manuel Pellegrini’s team.

I have my doubts about this story because Lo Celso hasn’t been available for selection in the last several games, so he has no cause for complaint about not getting enough playing time. Despite this, I do not anticipate him to see many minutes over the coming weeks, especially after Brennan Johnson’s arrival.
