West Ham are concerned about Aaron Cresswell’s fitness ahead of their trip to Liverpool on Sunday.
The Reds are back in Premier League action after a 3-1 Europa League triumph over LASK last night. West Ham also began their competition campaign with a 3-1 victory over TSC Backa Topola at the London Stadium.
Cresswell, on the other hand, left the game at halftime with a hamstring injury and is now doubtful to play at Anfield. Hammers manager David Moyes told TNT Sport: “He felt his hamstring.” He felt it in training, but we didn’t think it was strong enough to warrant action. Obviously, it happened during the game, and we’ll let the medical staff assess how serious it is.”
Meanwhile, West Ham talisman Jarrod Bowen did not play against Tapola. According to the Hammers’ website, the winger, who has three goals and one assist in five appearances this season, did not play due to illness. West Ham are now waiting to see if they can play on Merseyside.

Now, recent academy transfer news has revealed a new name who appears to be on his way to joining Manchester City’s ever-impressive junior lineup.
According to transfer source Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City are now ‘poised to sign’ England under-17 midfielder Divine Mukasa from West Ham after reaching an agreement on a long-term deal with the player and his team.
“(Manchester) City keep going for the best talents as their Academy remains a crucial part of the club’s project,” Fabrizio Romano noted in his analysis.
Mukasa’s impending transfer from West Ham follows in the footsteps of Jamal Baptise, who joined the initiative in east Manchester from the London Stadium’s junior program earlier this summer.
Divine Mukasa and Jamal Baptise are not the only youth players that have moved from West Ham to Manchester City; Josh Wilson-Esbrand did so in 2019.
The England youth international left-back is highly valued at the Etihad Stadium and is currently doing his trade and refining his game in France’s Ligue 1 on a season-long loan with Stade de Reims.
