According to reports, the Seahawks will sign DE Frank Clark.
Multiple media sites reported on Wednesday that defensive end Frank Clark is poised to sign a one-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks.
Clark’s contract details were not published. He began his career with the Seahawks before going on to win three Pro Bowls and two Super Bowl rings with the Kansas City Chiefs. After appearing in two games, he was released by the Denver Broncos on October 13.
Clark’s projected arrival comes as Seattle contends with top pass rusher Uchenna Nwosu’s likely season-ending pectoral injury.
In 122 career games (88 starts), Clark has 58.5 sacks, 265 career tackles, 14 forced fumbles, and seven fumble recoveries. He also has the most sacks (13.5) in 17 postseason games since entering the NFL in 2015.
Clark was drafted in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks.
