West Ham have agreed a fee with Ajax for the transfer of Mohammed Kudus, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update.
The agreement is a huge step closer to the club signing a very highly rated and sought after player, in what will be seen as a huge coup for our Hammers.
Ex has advised that the player is now scheduled to fly to London with Technical Director Tim Steidten to complete his medical, with the player then expected to sign a long term contract with West Ham.
“We have finally reached an agreement with Ajax for Mohammed Kudos this has been verified by our sources,” reported Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.
“The player is expected to fly in to have his medical tomorrow. He is set to put pen to a 5 year deal with an option of a 6th and is a considerable coup for the club given the other teams who were interested. The deal is thought to be €41.5 + €3m in add ons.
“We exclusively revealed the interest in the player and then reassured fans yesterday that the deal was still on with Tim Stiedten having flown out to close the deal.”
Ex has also further advised that the club will turn their attentions to adding a forward now the Kudus deal is reaching a successful conclusion.
“West Ham are expected to try and add a forward to proceedings,” added our club insider. “With talks continuing today with further targets.
Our insider also reported that the club had advised that there was an ongoing concern with significant interest from others, although Ex believes at this stage it isn’t a great concern.
“A source has said “We are still under enormous pressure from Saudi Arabia but we are confident the player will put pen to paper”. I am sure this is fine and more the source wanting to show how well we did at beating these strong financial offers.”
Ex has once again provided outstanding coverage of this transfer, having accurately and exclusively reported each stage of the proceedings, which has subsequently been commended by many journalists.
Our Podcast co-host will continue to keep fans fully up to date on the progress of the deal as it develops further on Patreon.
