LEEDS UNITED PLAYER ALEX MOWATT RECEIVES HILARIOUS SIX-WORD MESSAGE FROM ALEX MOWATT
Alex Mowatt has humorously criticised Sam Byram for the type of Instagram image he posted after Leeds United’s 3-0 win against Millwall on Sunday.
Daniel Farke’s side turned up one of their greatest performances of the season at the Den, now that the summer transfer window has closed.
Sam Byram, who returned to Leeds United after leaving Norwich City this summer, started the game and helped his team keep another clean sheet.
Back-to-back clean sheets for the Whites, which is unusual given their defensive troubles in previous years.
For once, the attitude in the camp is upbeat as Leeds begin to climb the league and compete for the automatic promotion slots, with the sole goal of returning to the Premier League.
Nonetheless, following the win over Millwall, Sam Bryam posted on Instagram, “Great way to top off the Birthday weekend,” with Alex Mowatt responding in the comments area.
“3 points and a clean sheet a great way to finish off the birthday weekend,” Byram added.
“Someone take these on a Nokia,” Mowatt said.
Leeds starting to build
The Yorkshire side is still far from their best, but as the games progress, they are beginning to build and appear stronger.
The attacking quality and depth available to Farke will make many Championship teams envious.
What Leeds can accomplish in the future isn’t the issue; it’s the lack of stability and performances at the back that has cost them in the past, so if they can improve on that, a top-six finish is a foregone conclusion.
