Next few hours ‘decisive’ for Aston Villa to make ‘formal offer’ for signing – Talks ongoing

Aston Villa completed the signing of Pau Torres from Villarreal earlier this month.

The Villans are again looking at La Liga to further bolster their defence as they set their sights on Levante UD’s Marc Pubill.

That’s according to Deportes COPE Valencia, who say Aston Villa are ‘in talks’ with the Spanish club over a deal for the right-back.

It’s said the next few hours are ‘decisive’ for Unai Emery’s side to ‘transfer a formal offer’ for the 20-year-old. Details of the planned Aston Villa offer or Levante’s demands aren’t mentioned in the tweet.

The Premier League side aren’t the only club chasing the fullback. Online, COPE state Sevilla are interested in the player and are thinking of signing him.

Pubill scored two goals and registered an assist from 31 games last season. He has a deal lasting until 2026 and the report states the Spanish club value him at around €6m. This is unlikely to be an issue for Emery’s side.

Aston Villa have already done business with Levante, when they allowed Wesley Moraes to spend last season on loan at the La Liga side.

Aston Villa: Contact made for Sofyan Amrabat

The Fiorentina ace is the latest name to have been highlighted as a potential summer target at Villa Park.

Aston Villa have made contact to enquire about a summer deal to bring Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat to the Premier League, according to fresh reports.

Who is Sofyan Amrabat?

Amrabat is primarily a defensive midfielder who has plied his trade at the Artemio Franchi Stadium since arriving from Hellas Verona back in 2020, and despite being sent straight back out on loan to his former club after joining, he’s gone on to become a regular feature of Vincenzo Italiano’s outfit, making 107 senior appearances to date.
