Greedy Vance Jr., a defensive back for Florida State, has declared his intention to use the transfer portal.

The two-year Seminole player, a redshirt senior who has participated in every game, announced the decision on Instagram.

After moving from the Louisville Cardinals to FSU in 2022, Vance Jr. made an immediate impact on the field as a member of the defense depth group. In 2023, he made five starts and recorded 18 tackles, one interception, and three pass breakups.

He recorded 34 total tackles (23 solo, 11 assisted) in his tenure in Tallahassee. He also had four interceptions and nine pass deflections.

He was ranked by PFF as the fourth-best defensive back for the Seminoles in 2023, behind Azareye’h Thomas (75), Jarrian Jones (90.1), and Renardo Green (83.2).
