Former Leicester City player James Maddison has joined his former teammates in social media celebrations of their win over Southampton.
Enzo Marsca’s squad defeated Southampton 4-1 on Friday evening, with Jamie Vardy, Kasey McAteer, Wilfred Ndidi, and Stephy Mavididi scoring.
Since the final whistle, the players have been enjoying the victory on Instagram, with former Fox Maddison also chiming in with his thoughts on the third goal.
Maddison captioned a photo of the game on a giant TV screen at Tottenham’s training facility, “What a team goal that is,” with three clapping emojis. He was watching as the players celebrated the game’s third goal.
Kieran Dewsbury-Hall, a midfielder, also made a sarcastic remark about teammate Stephy Mavididi. Mavididi scored City’s fourth goal, but Dewsbury-Hall was wide open for a feed before the shot.
“Good job you scored that…” Dewsbury-Hall said, along with a laughing emoji and a red heart. Mavididi responded by making two laughing faces.
