Dylan Wittke, quarterback for Virginia Tech, joins the Gophers via the transfer portal
The Gophers and P.J. Fleck are continuing a busy but fruitful period of portal activity following the team’s Tuesday commitment from wide receiver Tyler Williams.
On Tuesday, the transfer portal yielded another commitment for the Gophers and head coach P.J. Fleck.
He will be on the roster alongside quarterbacks Max Brosmer, Max Shikenjanski, and Drake Lindsey. Having redshirted the previous season, he will have four years left of eligibility.
For the Gophers, it caps off a busy and fruitful period of portal activity. Along with recent additions of LSU defensive end and former Cooper standout Jaxon Howard and Clemson defensive end Adam Kissayi, the team added wide receiver Tyler Williams from Georgia on Tuesday. Max Brosmer, a new signal caller from New Hampshire, also transferred.
Football’s spring transfer portal window ends on May 1.
