Exclusive: Liverpool to ‘definitely offer players in Alexander Isak swap deal’..
Newcastle are preparing to field bids for star man Alexander Isak this summer – with clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal leading the race.
Football Insider revealed on 16 February Isak is seen as the “perfect” signing by Liverpool manager Arne Slot and the recruitment team at Anfield.
Meanwhile, Reds star Jarell Quansah has been linked with Newcastle ahead of the summer transfer window.
Quansah came through the academy at Liverpool and has featured in the senior side for Jurgen Klopp and Slot.
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – has warned Newcastle off accepting a potential swap deal.

The defender has not been a regular starter under Slot but has broken into England’s senior side.
Wyness claimed Liverpool will include players in any potential offer they put forward for Isak.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “If there is going to be a deal for Isak, I believe there will be some player swaps from whatever club comes in for him.
“If it’s Liverpool putting a bid in, that will definitely be part of it.
“But with Quansah, I don’t know if he’s the one they will want – I have no idea.

“Newcastle may have to refresh their defence, there is a need – but there are questions about Quansah.
“I always worried about clubs offering players as swaps, because you’ve got to wonder why they are prepared to let him go.
“Unless it’s a player you’ve identified as one you want, then I would be questioning it.
“I don’t think Quansah is the right situation for Newcastle, and I think Isak may end up staying at Newcastle – but this summer will be fascinating.
