According to reports, the forward is leaving Manly for a new opportunity.
He recently signed with the Sea Eagles for the 2023 season.
To improve their forward stocks, the Parramatta Eels have reportedly acquired Manly Sea Eagles forward Kelma Tuilagi to their squad for next season.
The Samoan international joined the Manly Sea Eagles earlier this year after a two-year stay with the Wests Tigers. He participated in 17 games for the team this season, starting in all but two of them.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Kelma Tuilagi will join the Parramatta Eels immediately. This means he has signed a two-year contract with the Eels under Brad Arthur for the last two seasons of his Manly contract.
Tuilagi’s departure from the Sea Eagles is expected to free up more salary cap room at the club, which just re-signed Josh Schuster for $800,000 per season and is due to offer Haumole Olakau’atu a multi-million dollar contract to secure his long-term future.
He will give fantastic forward depth for the Eels and might potentially make his way into the starting back row, since Shaun Lane is the only likely candidate with a sure starting berth.
