Despite David Moyes’ ‘question marks,’ West Ham United is one of the Premier League’s’most interesting’ teams.
According to journalist Alex Keble, West Ham United now has one of the “most exciting” squads in the Premier League.
The decision comes after the Hammers signed players like as James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez during the summer transfer window.
Key to the enthusiasm, Keble continued, was keeping Brazilian sensation Lucas Paqueta, who had “almost agreed” to join Manchester City for £80 million [Sky Sports, 21].
“Ward-Prowse doesn’t replace Declan Rice’s ball carrying or commanding presence at the base of midfield, but his set-piece delivery has already been put to good use under Moyes,” Keble wrote for the official Premier League website on September 5th.
“Alvarez is a special player who, along with his Ajax teammate Mohammed Kudus, has significantly boosted West Ham.” There are doubts that Moyes will want to play the more advanced type of game that Alvarez and Kudus are accustomed to, but they are significant signings for West Ham.
“With the addition of Lucas Paqueta, West Ham has one of the most exciting teams in the Premier League.”
