Celtic loanee Jeffrey Schlupp earns surprise FA Cup medal..
Jeffrey Schlupp has taken to social media to share his delight at Crystal Palace’s recent FA Cup triumph.
The Celtic loanee has shared an image of an FA Cup winners’ medal with his followers on Instagram.
Oliver Glasner’s side were deserved winners as they got the better of Manchester City at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.
Eberechi Eze scored the only goal of the game on 16 minutes, with Palace keeper Dean Henderson denying City from the spot.
Schlupp reunited with Brendan Rodgers during the January transfer window as he joined Celtic on loan from the south London club.
The former Premier League title winner has made 15 appearances during his time in Scotland, scoring once and notching one assist.
As it turns out, his gametime at Selhurst Park was far more limited before the 32-year-old made the move.
A 13-minute appearance in a home match against League One side Stockport County was the extent of his involvement in Palace’s FA Cup run this season.
But fortunately for him, that was enough to qualify for a medal.
Taking to his Instagram story, he shared a snap of the medal, along with emojis of a blue and red hearts, and a love heart-eyed face.
Schlupp will be aiming to add to his already hefty medal collection this season, having picked up one for his part in Celtic’s fourth Scottish Premiership title success in a row when the Hoops take to the national stadium in the Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen this weekend.
Big Update on Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace Future.

Glasner has proven to be a winner throughout his career, and while his UEFA Europa League triumph with Eintracht Frankfurt was excellent, his FA Cup heroics are remarkable. His stock has grown in European football over the years, and he was linked with RB Leipzig earlier this month.
Palace are intent on keeping the Salzburg-born tactician at Selhurst Park, as confirmed by the club’s chairman, Steve Parish. He suggested that discussions over a new deal are positive because “Oliver wants to be part of something that’s going in a direction” ahead of an important transfer window.
Thanks to their FA Cup win, the Eagles have qualified for next season’s UEFA Europa League. Several of Glasner’s squad, including Tottenham-linked Eberechi Eze, who netted the winner against City, are being touted for big-money moves.

Glasner staying put and signing an extension could help Palace in their bid to keep hold of their shining stars. The chance to play in the club’s first Europa League campaign, a competition their Austrian coach knows how to win, could be enticing.
