An attack on the net by Andreas Wingerli resulted in the opener of this game. The match really turned on its head when Skellefteå forward Oscar Möller completed a third-period hat trick to crush the hopes of the home fans. Linemate forward Joakim Lindström was on hand again to assist his second, which he accurately sniped over the shoulder of Atte Engren. A shorthanded individual effort and empty-net goal put the visitors lead out of the reach of a now desperate Helsinki side.
