Revealing via his Patreon, journalist Alan Nixon states that Huddersfield have set a £10 million asking price for Rudoni, in what is a clear statement of intent to retain his services.
It also sends a clear message to clubs looking at their players that they will not find the bargains they’re looking for, should they come shopping at the John Smith’s Stadium this summer.
Nixon states that Coventry boss Mark Robins sees Rudoni as an ideal replacement for the likely outgoing O’Hare, as he looks to piece together a squad that can get over the Championship promotion line next season.
However, upon hearing the amount that they would have to part with in order to obtain his services, Nixon says that Coventry have – at least for now – backed away from any potential deal.
Nixon ends his report by also suggesting that another of Town’s key players, Sorba Thomas, can leave the club for as little as £750,000 this summer, a figure that will surely attract the attention of Championship clubs.
Thomas returned to the Terriers setup last season after being seemingly exiled by old boss Mark Fotheringham, but despite creating the second-most chances in the entire league with 123, the Wales international was unable to help keep his side in the second tier of English football.
