Leeds United transfer rumours as Roca’s Real Betis move draws nearer and Dennis given green light

A round-up of the latest Leeds United transfer rumours

A look at the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Monday, July 17.

Marc Roca to be unveiled as Real Betis player

Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca is expected to have arrived in Seville yesterday to complete his season-long loan move to Real Betis. Mundo Deportivo report Roca is expected to be presented as a Real Betis player on Monday and then will join up with his new team-mates on Tuesday.

The Spaniard is set to finalise a loan move to the La Liga side, which is expected to contain either an option to buy or an obligation depending on how well he fares.

Roca was an ever present for Leeds last season, but failed to live up to the hype after his arrival from Bayern Munich. The Spaniard has reported back for pre-season training but did not feature in the clash with Manchester United last week.

Football insider claim Nottingham Forest will allow Emmanuel Dennis to leave the club this summer amid reported interest from Leeds United. Dennis only joined Forest last summer after an impressive Premier League campaign with Watford but he has struggled for regular game time and consistency.

Nonetheless, the former Club Brugge forward would be seen as a major coup for any Championship side although Forest paid around £20million for him last summer and will want to recoup as much of that fee as possible if they do sell him to ease their bloated squad.

Dennis scored against Real Madrid in the Champions League and impressed during his tenure with the Hornets.
