A 12-year-old boy from Colchester who was arrested in relation to hoax bomb threats made to three schools has been released on bail.

Essex Police have now confirmed the second boy arrested yesterday following investigations into threatening calls made to two Colchester schools and a Clacton school earlier this week has been “released on bail with conditions attached”.

A 12-year-old boy, from Colchester, was arrested on suspicion of sending a false communication with intent to cause harm.
