The Boston Bruins will try to right the ship when they take the ice against the Montreal Canadiens at Centre Bell on Thursday night.
The Black and Gold have suffered nine consecutive losses.
Bruins interim head coach Joe Sacco is keeping the same lineup while swapping forwards Cole Koepke and Marat Khusnutdinov to the second and third line, respectively. Jeremy Swayman will be in net after stopping 28 of 32 shots in Boston’s loss to the Washington Capitals on Tuesday. Fabian Lysell, a healthy scratch against the Capitals, will also draw back into the lineup for Jeffrey Viel.
Puck drop from Centre Bell is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, and you can watch it live on NESN after an hour of pregame coverage.

Bruins outbid multiple teams sign coveted undrafted free agent..
The Bruins outbid several teams for Cornell power forward Dalton Bancroft, who signed a one-year deal with the Boston on Thursday.
Bancroft will report to Providence and finish this year on an amateur tryout agreement. His one-year deal worth and annual cap hit of $950,000 will start in 2025-26.
The Lightning and Oilers were all reportedly pursuing Bancroft.
Bancroft is a 6-foot-3, 207-pound forward who had 15 goals and 12 assists in 36 games for the Big Red, where he played with Bruins draft pick Ryan Walsh, who led Cornell with 17 goals and 14 assists.
Bancroft, 24, is a native of Madoc, Ontario and played in the OHL before heading to the Ivy League. He had 36 goals and 43 assists for 79 points in 103 career college games.
