LAS VEGAS (AP) — It’s Taylor Swift’s first time at the Super Bowl. Swift was seen chatting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce in a private box at Allegiant Stadium more than an hour before kickoff.
After a thrilling journey from the Tokyo Dome to Allegiant Stadium for the Super Bowl on Sunday, Swift and her mother Andrea Swift passed through security to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers.
Arriving approximately two hours before kickoff, the 14-time Grammy winner, who has been dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce since the early weeks of the NFL season, flew across nine time zones and the international dateline from her Eras Tour.
Cameras cut to Swift and Lively holding each other and taking in the performance of “America the Beautiful,” which was being performed by Post Malone at the time. When the Chiefs won the coin toss, she started to dance.
Swift appeared to have received the memo from Kelce and several Chiefs as she entered the room dressed in all black with a red jacket draped over her shoulder. The Chiefs embraced their villainous image, with quarterback Patrick Mahomes dressing sharply in black, coach Andy Reid donning a black blazer, and him donning a shimmering black suit.
The lead single from Swift’s Grammy-winning album “Midnights,” “Anti-Hero,” also happens to be one.
“She is amazing. Following the Grammy Awards on Sunday, Kelce remarked, “She’s rewriting the history books herself.” “I informed her that I would need to fulfill my end of the agreement and bring hardware home as well.”

During Super Bowl week, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt remarked, “Having Taylor as a new Chiefs fan is very unique.” “I never conduct an interview without being questioned about it beforehand. I believe that many of the team’s coaches and players are in similar situations. The main thing is that we’re glad they found each other and have such a unique bond; that is what matters most.
Aside from Swift, there was no shortage of celebrity power for the NFL’s big night. Alicia Keys was among the guests who watched Usher perform during the halftime show. Singing the national anthem was Reba McEntire.
