In college football, Alabama has another transfer player looking for a new team.

In addition to having two former Alabama assistant coaches at Colorado, Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders also has a former Crimson Tide defensive lineman on staff

.

He attended Montgomery, Alabama’s Robert E. Lee High School before joining Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class.

Barnes, who arrived as a four-star lineman, has two SEC Championship rings. He was the fifth name to register with the NCAA transfer portal in search of a new team, and the second defensive lineman to do so.

Barnes is currently playing with Charles Kelly and Sal Sunseri on the Colorado Buffaloes.
