Tyreek Hill’s trade to the Miami Dolphins was one of the offseason’s biggest stories, but he has warned fans in Miami that he won’t be around for long.

The wide receiver captivated fans throughout the 2022 NFL season, helping the Dolphins become a competitive and creative offense, but he has revealed his retirement plans for 2025.

Hill’s contract with the Dolphins is slated to expire this year, but he has no intentions to extend or modify it.

“I’m aiming for ten, man.” “I’m going to finish out this contract with the Dolphins and then call it quits,” Hill acknowledged to Sports Radio 810 WHB.

“I want to get into business, bro. I want to do so many things in my life.”

“So, I really want to get into the gaming space, I really want to make a name for myself in that, and that’s kind of what I’m doing right now.” I’m leveraging my platform to establish a gaming team that has yet to launch.”

Miami will be without their star receiver.
While this approach appears to be great in theory, we’ve seen several NFL stars fight the impulse to retire in order to accept one final large contract.

Hill is currently one of the league’s most productive playmakers and shows no signs of slowing down now that he is part of a unique scheme in Miami.

There are no guarantees that he will follow through on this plan, but it is undoubtedly concerning from a Dolphins standpoint.

He is their finest player, their X-Factor on offense, and losing him so early in their current project would be unimaginable, especially given how tough it is to acquire receivers like Hill.

Despite winning the Super Bowl this season, the Kansas City Chiefs still don’t feel like they have entirely replaced him, such was his importance to their own offensive plan.
