A critical injury has been sustained by a victim of a robbery in South Auckland.
Just before 11.30 a.m. on Saturday, according to the police, they were called to a business on Dawson Road in Clover Park.
Police are looking into the death of one person who was taken to Auckland Hospital in critical condition.
In the shopping complex, Bhupen, the proprietor of a dairy next to a liquor store, reported that he heard a disturbance and called for help before discovering a body on the ground.
In the 23 years he had worked there, there had been numerous robberies in the shopping complex, but none that had resulted in serious injuries. “I feel scared,” he remarked.
Throughout the afternoon, forensic experts arrived at the stores, and officers are visible in the neighborhood gathering evidence.
