Tyreek Hill is under pressure from the Miami Dolphins as post-season targets are threatened by injury.

Superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who missed the majority of the Miami Dolphins’ loss to the Tennessee Titans, is one of two key players whose injuries the Dolphins have learned the severity of.

After suffering an ankle inversion, Tyreek Hill is still listed as day-to-day for the Miami Dolphins injury although this could be a setback for his season.

The elite wide receiver was on track to have a record-breaking 2,000-yard season and make history as the first player at the position to do so. But now he’s limited by an ankle injury, which is expected to make his movement difficult.

Given that the Dolphins are on a short week following their heartbreaking Monday Night Football loss to the Tennessee Titans, Hill might even miss their upcoming game.

On Sunday, the Dolphins take on the division rival New York Jets. Hill needs to have a big game to stay on pace to break 2,000 yards, but the team may decide to rest him because they need their speedster for the playoffs.

After catching a pass from Tua Tagovailoa, Titans cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting fell onto Hill’s legs in the first quarter, clearly inverting his ankle.

After the risky play, he hobbled off the field and was seen testing out his ankle on the sidelines before running to the Miami sidelines. It appeared that he was okay.

Following Tagovailoa’s struggles without their main offensive weapon, Hill was eventually able to return for a brief period of time in the third quarter. However, the receiver was obviously playing through pain as he missed several plays in crucial downs. Williams has had a tremendous season for the Dolphins – being the highest-graded center in the league. He is also expected to leave the team this off-season, with him set to become a free agent while the Dolphins have key free agents to resign. Tagovailoa and defensive tackle Christian Wilkins will likely receive top of the market deals this off-season, with Miami now needing to rally to continue in their Super Bowl hopes this year. Miami are just one game behind the Baltimore Ravens in first place, who now look to be the favorites alongside the San Francisco 49ers to make it to the Super Bowl. But protecting Tagovailoa is key, and Hill’s field-stretching pace is game-changing so the injuries could hardly come in worst positions.
