The spring transfer portal for 2024 is now open, and some Virginia Tech players quickly registered. While some players will be leaving Blacksburg, others will be joining to fill positions that the Hokies coaching staff believes need to be filled.
This is an active transfer portal for the spring, and it will be updated each time someone enters or exits Blacksburg.
Transfers out of Virginia Tech
Dylan Wittke, quarterback
Dylan Wittke accessed the portal a few days following the Hokies spring game, following Pry’s announcement that Pop Watson was leading Kyron Drones in the competition for the backup quarterback position.
OL’s Gabriel Arena
The Hokies had great expectations for offensive lineman Gabriel Arena, but he was never able to make a significant impact.
RB Tralon Mitchell
Tralon Mitchell only saw one carry in the previous season, but as the Spring Game demonstrated, they have more running back room than we first realized.
