This guy can definitely ignite an explosion in the area of three-point shooting, which is something the Oklahoma City Thunder desperately need.
Joe has shown during the 2023–24 NBA season that he is among the league’s finest long-range shooters. He made 41.6 percent of his three-pointers on 4.5 attempts per game during the regular season, but it seems like something has changed as that percentage has dropped in the postseason.
Joe’s percentage of deep shots against the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round was only 35.7%. He has slightly improved to 38.1 percent in this series against the Mavericks, but it is still below his regular season average.
Even though Joe is among the Thunder’s best role players, the playoffs don’t seem to be treating him that way right now. Cason Wallace has, if anything, assumed that title.
If Joe doesn’t perform as the offensive flamethrower that has been projected for the entire season.
